The play «The Scarecrow. 20 Years Later»
The musical «The Scarecrow. 20 Years Later» is based on the story by Vladimir Zheleznikov – it is a continuation of the well‑known story about Lena Bessoltseva, who was subjected to bullying by her classmates. It tells how this story, which happened to her in childhood, affected her later life. Having grown up, Lena, immersed in nightmarish memories, unravels the thread of events, re‑evaluating everything that happened to her back then.
The musical part of the performance is based on famous Soviet songs (including children’s songs) in a modern arrangement.
