Master class «Make friends with music»
At the master class, you will hear a mini-lecture on Tatar music and traditions, as well as a musical meditation.
The conversation will be about images and motifs in Tatar music, about associations and ideas related to a special component of the Tatar sound – «Mon», which translates as melody, melodiousness.
Participants will focus on their breathing and sound, will be inspired by the sounds of the Tatar folk wind instrument kurai, and will improvise with their voice and intuitive musical instruments.
The host of the master class is a teacher and a choirmaster Azalia Menibaeva.
