Exhibition «Nature from my window»
The exhibition presents graphic and pictorial works, as well as books made by children of preschool and primary school age at the «Moskovsky» Cultural Center in the «Hurray!» Studio in 2022-2023.
The drawings are grouped into the following thematic series:
- transfer of emotions through the image of nature in different states;
- breeds of dogs;
- sketches of urban landscapes;
- drawings of exotic animals;
- color and black-and-white collages for the group project of the journal «Nature from my window».
Kids observe everything presented at the exhibition every day on the way to school or kindergarten: landscapes, animals, changes in weather «mood».
The exhibition you may also see students' picture books. Each has its own story, and the illustrations were made in certain techniques (monotype, watercolor, collage). Each book is printed in a small edition.
«Hurray!» Studio is a creative project of Valeria Petrichenko. It has been working since 2013. During this time, more than 100 stop-motion cartoons were made. In addition, a journal with children's observations «Nature from my window» and other books are periodically published.
The exhibition is open from May 20, 2023
