Opening of the exhibition «Lest we forget..»

On May 6, the Cultural Center «Moskovsky» held the opening of the exhibition «Lest we forget..».
The exhibition is devoted to the military and labor feat of Kazan residents (Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts) during the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition is based on materials from the museums of:
Gymnasium No. 4, School No. 81, School No. 32, the Museum of the River Technical School and the «Zarechye» Museum; museums of the enterprises of JSC «Kazan Aviation Plant named after S.P. Gorbunov» - a branch of PJSC Tupolev; JSC “Kazan Helicopter Plant”; JSC «Tatkhimpharmpreparaty», OOO RPE «Tasma».
Of great importance was also the family archive of Hero of the Soviet Union N. N. Arzhanov. It became a connecting thread between generations, preserving the memory of the feat of those who fought for the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition also features objects found during search expeditions of the Regional Public Youth Organization «Tatarstan Association “Homeland”».
