Ist «Astra» International Festival of Illustration

On August 27-28, 2022, the 1st “Astra” International Illustration Festival was held at the «Moskovsky» Cultural Center. This event connected Russian and international illustrators and zine authors, as well as book publishers, art historians, writers and other visitors interested in illustration.

We posted a portfolio of all the participants included in the long list, shared the information about the festival experts and added illustrations for sale. Lex & Elena Larvatus's lecture «Illustration and design of a board game from idea to the print run», Rishat Khasanov's «Contracts on the arrangement of rights to illustrations» and the public talk «Experience of organizing a local sketching community» by the «Sketchvstrechi» community are already available for viewing on the site.
The section with the media library will be supplemented over time, and all new posted videos will be announced here. The English version of the site is currently being edited.
