«Art-Spring» Festival 2025

On March 8, the traditional youth festival «Art-Spring» was held in the «Moskovsky» Cultural Center. The festival brought together different types of contemporary art: music, fashion, design, graphics and others.
«Art-Spring» opened with an exhibition of graphic works by the brightest and most talented illustrators, «Printed Fun or Kygyr-Bygyr». For those who wanted to try themselves as an artist, a master class on «Calligraphy made of Improvised Means» was organized by designer and writing master Bulat Khasanshin. A graphic artist Regina Mavrina presented a master class on making a festive pop-up zine using screen printing and collage techniques. Art critic, curator, art journalist, and Kazan art researcher Luiza Nizamova gave an exclusive lecture, «Young Graphic Artists: Trends in Russian Contemporary Art Fairs».
The highlight of the festival was a fashion show of young designers’ collections. The rising stars of Kazan jazz - the «Cape Town» jazz band gave the festival visitors a wonderful musical mood.
For seven years now, one of the brightest events of spring has been delighting the city’s creative audience. Exhibitions, lectures, master classes, contemporary music, an author’s market, sketch portraits by artists, and meetings with interesting people – all of this made the beginning of spring unforgettable.
